These Terms and Conditions are the ground rules for using olegkovalov.com and for buying digital products from me. This site is owned and operated by Oleg Kovalov through Video Hook LLC, a single-member limited liability company based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. In these terms, "I," "me," and "my" mean Oleg Kovalov and Video Hook LLC, and "you" means you, the visitor or customer.

When you buy a digital product, you are asked to check a box confirming that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions before you complete your purchase. Checking that box and completing checkout, or creating a customer account, is how you accept these terms. I keep a record of that agreement.
Everything on this site is educational and informational. The blog posts, videos, gear recommendations, tutorials, and digital products share my experience and clearly labeled research as a filmmaker and creator. They are not:

Digital products purchased from the Shop (such as LUT packs, settings guides, templates, mini-courses, or other downloadable files) are delivered as instant electronic downloads. There is no physical product and nothing is shipped. You are responsible for providing a working email address and for being able to access and download the files you buy. Delivery is generally immediate after your payment is confirmed.
Digital products are licensed for personal use by the named purchaser unless the product page explicitly states otherwise. I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them. You do not buy ownership of the product or its underlying intellectual property. If you want to use a product for client work or other commercial use, the product page must permit it, or you need a separate written license from me.

Prices on this site are listed in United States dollars. Applicable sales tax may be added at checkout based on your location and the product you buy. You will see the final total, including any tax, before you confirm your order.
Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor (Stripe). Your full card details are entered with the processor and are never stored on this site. By completing a purchase you authorize the charge for the product and any applicable tax.
All sales of digital downloadable products (such as LUT packs, presets, settings guides, templates, and other downloadable files) are final. Because these products are delivered instantly and cannot be returned once the download has been delivered or accessed, I do not offer refunds as a matter of course.
I do make things right in good faith. If a file is corrupted, fails to download, was charged in error or duplicated, or is materially different from what was advertised, contact me through the Contact page within 14 days of purchase and I will provide a working replacement or, where appropriate, a refund. This refund policy is shown to you before you pay so you know the terms before you buy.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital content. Because my products are downloadable files delivered immediately, that right works differently. When you buy and request immediate access to a download, you expressly agree that delivery begins right away and you acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal or cancellation once the download begins. You will receive confirmation of your order and of that consent by email.
This does not take away your statutory rights. If a product is faulty, not as described, or does not meet the quality you are legally entitled to, you keep your rights under applicable consumer law (including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and equivalent EU rules), and those rights cannot be waived. In that case, contact me and I will work with you to repair, replace, or refund as the law requires.
